Housing Support, transportation and Utilities

Any student struggling to maintain access to adequate housing or utilities should contact Student Advocacy & Support at studentsupport@udel.edu for a consultation. In addition, below are some resources that may be applicable to your situation.

On-Campus Resources

Residence Hall Housing and Housing Between Semesters

Residence Life & Housing is able to meet with you to discuss your on-campus housing options. Our office can assist in that discussion and advocate for options. It is important to note that students must be involved with the University in some capacity to live in our residence halls over the Winter and Summer sessions.

UD Transportation Shuttle Service

Transportation Services offers a shuttle service for students who are traveling from campus to their nearby off-campus residences. This service is available from 6 p.m.–1 a.m., seven days a week. The four pickup points are:

  • Morris Library

  • Perkins Student Center

  • Townsend Hall

  • North end of the STAR Health Sciences Building on the STAR Campus.

Please check the Ride Location Map for service coverage area.

UDPD Safety Escort Service

A free, 24/7 safety escort service is available for students, staff and faculty from any University property or contiguous street, and specific areas off campus.
