Casper Brady (gray sweatshirt) is a doctoral student in Engineering who's the first listed author of a new paper (titled "Integration of thermochemical water splitting with CO2 direct air capture") explaining an integrated process using only thermal solar energy as the input for a thermochemical method of splitting water to produce Carbon Dioxide, H2, O2, and electricity. The paper was co-authored with Mark E. Davis of Caltech and Bingjun Xu (blue shirt) of the University of Delaware and appeared in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on November 21, 2019.
The 170th Commencement Ceremonies for the University of Delaware which graduated the Class of 2019. The commencement speaker was Matt Nagy, a UD alum from the class of 2001 and  the first UD alumnus to earn a head coaching position in the National Football League, becoming head coach of the Chicago Bears in 2018.
