Network with employers to discuss full-time, part-time and internship opportunities from various fields.

  • The fair is in person and split into two spaces: All Career Interests & Business Fair and Engineering, Science & Technology.
  • Available for stopping by in between classes or all afternoon!
  • Recruitment-based, so dress as you would to an interview for the opportunities available

Professional head shots will be available at the career fair and are sponsored by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Please register on this form to reserve a time slot.

This in-person event will be divided into two dedicated spaces: the All Career Interests & Business Fair and the Engineering, Science & Technology Fair.

You'll also be able to promote your opportunities by major and make them accessible through Handshake to reach all students attending the event. The two fairs are separated by a small hallway, allowing students easy access to both, ensuring you get maximum exposure to potential candidates.

This unique event is focused specifically on companies looking to hire students in Computer Science and Software Engineering

Unlike other career fair events, this event focuses exclusively on positions for students with or working on a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Student attendees will include Computer Science majors and minors looking for a position after graduation and internships during their study as well as graduate students in the field of Computer and Information Sciences.

The first 30 minutes will be open to senior computer science majors and minors, with the remainder of the event open to all students affiliated with the Computer and Information Sciences department.

Fashion Career Meetup

Tuesday, October 8, 2024 | 5–6:30 p.m.

Connect with alumni and employers in the fashion industry to build your professional network and learn about the recruiting process.

Gain access to current and future interview, internship and job opportunities!

The program will start off from 4–5 p.m. with a Zoom panel of alumni introducing themselves and discussing their journeys to their current roles, company culture, career advice and types of careers and internship openings in their organization.

You will need to register for the alumni and employer panel in advance to receive the Zoom link and password.

Following the presentation, students will have the opportunity to network with employers through the Handshake virtual fair from 5–6:30 p.m.

Student registration opens two weeks before the event.

The program will start off with an alumni and employer panel coordinated by the Department of Fashion and Apparel Studies from 4–5 p.m. Following the virtual panel discussion, you will have an opportunity to interact with the students through the Handshake virtual fair from 5–6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, October 15 and Wednesday, October 16, 2024 | 5–6:30 p.m.

Speed Networking for First-Year Business students is an opportunity to enhance your professional development skills and network with employers and alumni.

Please note: this event is open to first-year Business students only and is a requirement for BUAD110 students.

Important Notes

  • There is a video component to this virtual event. Be mindful of your surroundings and limit background noise.
  • You will not need copies of your resume.

All students will be given a list of employer and alumni representatives after the program to assist with following up.

About the Event

The Lerner College of Business is looking for employers to connect with every first-year student in business for a virtual speed networking event.

Each professional development topic (i.e. interviewing, networking, how to dress for an interview, LinkedIn, etc.) will be led by Director of Lerner Career Services Jill Gugino Panté in a large group setting. After each topic, there will be 5–10 minutes of virtual breakout discussion led by the employer representative. There will be approximately 300–400 first-year Lerner students on each date.

You can sign up for one or both days. The cost of the event is $300 per employer per day. Should you attend both days, the price is $500. Each employer can have a maximum of four representatives for their registered day. A list of students and employer representatives will be emailed out after the event.

Once you register, Jill Gugino Panté will follow up with employers to provide additional details of the day.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing to Melissa Zeissig at mzeissig@udel.edu.  Should cancellation not be submitted in the above terms, no refund or excuse from payment will be issued.

  • Cancellation prior to Monday, September 30, at 5 p.m: 100% refund or no expectation of payment.
  • Cancellation between Monday, September 30, at 5 p.m. and Monday, October 7 at 5 p.m.: 75% refund or expectation of 25% payment.
  • Cancellation after Monday, October 7, at 5 p.m.: no refund will be issued and full payment is due.


The UD Career Center may cancel any one or more employer registrations for any reason. In doing so it may elect to consider only its own interests and will not be required to consider the effect of any such cancellation. Come to the Nursing and Healthcare Experiences Career Fair to connect with employers who are seeking to hire Blue Hens in a variety of healthcare related professions.

This career fair is open to all healthcare organizations seeking interns or full-time employees in the healthcare industry. Students attending will range from nursing and medical laboratory science to a range of allied health professions.

Government & NonProfit Career Fair

Friday, November 22, 2024 | 1–4 p.m.

The Virtual Government & Nonprofit Career Fair educates students from all majors and academic backgrounds about nonprofit and government organization career paths within their fields of study.

This event is an exciting collaborative event between George Washington University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University and University of Delaware to educate students from all majors and academic backgrounds about nonprofit and government organization career paths within their field of study.

This fair takes place virtually on Handshake and is open to all current students and alumni of the following institutions: George Washington University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University and University of Delaware.

How to Prepare for a Fair

  • Research companies you’ll be meeting with during the fair and draft questions to discuss with recruiters. 
  • Update your resume with your most recent experiences and accomplishments. 
  • Make sure you’re camera-ready by planning your attire for the fair and considering what’s visible behind you during your sessions.

Students should reach out to their university's career center for support and resources as they prepare for the fair.

Note: Student registration opens Friday, October 25, 2024.

The Virtual Government & Nonprofit Career Fair is an opportunity to meet over 300 students from all majors and academic backgrounds about nonprofit and government organization career paths within their fields of study.

This event is an exciting collaborative event between George Washington University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Delaware.

Organizations that are part of any level of government (federal, state, local) and nonprofit organizations are encouraged to register for this event.

Please note: we are not accepting registration requests from graduate or professional schools seeking to recruit students for their academic programs.
