One Idea, One Slide Summit set for May 15

Opportunity for anyone to present innovations and improvements

The annual One Idea, One Slide Summit — where any faculty or staff member has two minutes and one slide to describe a challenge and propose a solution — is set for Friday, May 15, in Mitchell Hall.

Since President Laura Carlson launched the Summit in 2023, more than 400 contributors have made nearly 200 pitches to a University audience. Every idea is provided a pathway to move forward, matching the right resources and support to the goal of the proposal. At the Summit, presenters can connect with audience members to network and identify partnerships and synergies. Many proposals have received philanthropic funding.

An abstract of the proposal and the one slide accompanying it must be submitted to president@udel.edu by May 8. The Summit will begin after the General Faculty meeting and reception on May 15.
