2026–2027 Returning Student Housing
The returning student housing application for the 2026–2027 academic year is now available in the My Housing Portal for rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, students enrolled in a 4+1 or 3+2 program and Associate in Arts students transitioning to Newark and wanting to live on campus in the fall.
Housing for returning students is not required or guaranteed, but students must apply by February 27 at 5 p.m. to be considered.
2026–2027 First-Year Student Housing
Newly admitted, first-year students are required to live on-campus for the academic year of their admittance. The housing application for Fall 2026 first-year admits joining the Newark campus is expected to open by early April. Watch here for more details.
Spring Break Housing
Traditional and suite-style residence halls close for Spring Break and residents must vacate their hall by 7 p.m. on March 20. Halls reopen at noon on March 29. Apartment-style halls stay open and residents have access to their units, so do not need to vacate or apply to stay during the break.
Those who need a late stay (until 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21) or need to stay on campus for any portion of the break must complete a Spring Break application in the My Housing Portal between February 23 and March 19 at 5pm.
