Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition and Fees
At the University of Delaware, we provide an excellent education at a great value. We work hard to keep our tuition affordable while maintaining the highest academic standards. UD is often recognized as a best value in higher education for our academic quality and cost, and we recently ranked No.135 for Best Value Schools by U.S. News and World Report.
Financial Aid
Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an online degree program may be eligible for financial aid, which consists of scholarships, grants and federal loans to offset educational costs.

FAFSA
Fill out the FAFSA as soon as possible to determine eligibility for federal financial aid, such as grants, scholarships and more. Note: UD’s FAFSA code is 001431.
Grants
Grants, which do not need to be repaid, are need-based financial aid. Undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor’s degree are automatically considered as long as they file the FAFSA and demonstrate financial need.
Scholarships
UD automatically considers admitted students for a range of scholarships, with no separate application required. Other scholarships may be available through non-University resources.
Military Benefits
UD is committed to helping veterans and U.S. military service members transition from military to college life. Veterans can find information and dedicated support on the military benefits page.
