Export Control

Export Control
Export Control laws regulate the transfer of controlled information and physical items to foreign colleagues and organizations within the United States and abroad. The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Department of Commerce through its Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the Treasury Department through its Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) all implement export control laws and regulations and the University of Delaware is committed to upholding these regulations.
In order to maintain compliance, a fully executed Export Control Form (also found on the Forms webpage) is required for all non-immigrant employment based statuses sponsored by UD (J-1, H-1B, O-1,TN). This includes Initial, Extension and Transfer requests. For more information on Export Control, contact the University of Delaware Research Office.
