Secondary Teacher Education at the University of Delaware is a hub for students and educators dedicated to shaping the future of middle and high school education. Offering a range of accredited programs in subjects such as biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics, the center provides students with the opportunity to study their scientific area of interest while learning the best teaching methods. By combining rigorous academic preparation with professional education courses, students are well-prepared to make a lasting impact on the lives of their students.

Good teachers can change lives! Teachers educate, inspire, mentor and protect students on their journies toward life beyond high school. Along with families, they are tasked with nurturing human beings who are ready to take on college or other training and ultimately careers. Teachers make a difference in the lives of families in communities both big and small.
