Sports Medicine
Medical services in support of the University of Delaware Intercollegiate Athletic Program are provided by a Board-Certified Sports Medicine physician-nurse team. The services are offered in a Sports Medicine Clinic facility located at the Whitney Athletic Center in close proximity to practice, training, and game facilities. The Sports Medicine Clinic serves as the Student Health Service for our student-athletes.

The Sports Medicine Clinic is open from August through May.
Sports Medicine Clinic Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Closed 12–1 p.m. daily
When Sports Medicine is closed, athletes can be seen at the primary Student Health Services facility at Laurel Hall.
A limited schedule is available during the months of June and July.

SERVICES
The services provided at the Sports Medicine Clinic include the evaluation and treatment for primary care and sports injury concerns for all of the University of Delaware NCAA/UCA athletes throughout the academic year. In addition, all pre-participation physical examinations, annual recertification examinations and exit physicals are completed at the UD Sports Medicine Clinic. The services of the Sports Medicine Clinic are available to students who are not participating in intercollegiate athletics on referral from physicians/nurse practitioners at the SHS.

Orthopaedic Sideline Consultants
Our team of Orthopaedic Sideline Consultants are an integral part of our Sports Medicine team. They are credentialed by UD Student Health Services to be present on campus; allowing them to see our student athletes during select competitions. In addition, they may see patients in the Sports Medicine Clinic during defined injury check times.
