Dr. Pia Inguito has been a faculty member since 1997. She was Director of the Undergraduate BSN programs from 2015 to 2022 and has taught at all levels in the undergraduate program in the medical-surgical clinical setting for over 20 years. Her previous clinical background as an Army nurse and as a civilian were in cardiothoracic , orthopedic surgery, and trauma. Her current focus is teaching in the lab, simulation, and clinical practica at the sophomore level. She is also the faculty mentor for the Buxbaum Gerontology Scholars and Nursing Highmark Diversity Scholars where she coordinates the traditional and accelerated scholars’ experiences and projects.
