Well, I don't really remember if I was ever there.  I know that at one point
I had an account, but I can't remember what I used it for.  I vaguely
remember getting kicked off for using an account that someone had left
signed in to get a listing of all the passwords for all the other accounts.
Y'all have awfully good memories; sometimes I can't remember stuff that
happened earlier in the same week!  I also doubt that anyone short of Alan
Flippen or Ken Pollock even know who I am!!

With regard to PLATO, I was hired by OCBI, the Office of Computer-Based
Instruction, to work on PLATO after having a problem with attendence at
classes at UofD.  Fred Hofstetter ran the place.  At one time, there were
quite a few PLATO systems around the world all linked together.  We could
send notes to folks on all the different systems.  PLATO is still around and
I know the FAA still uses it in the Oklahoma City Training center.

I programmed in TUTOR and MicroTUTOR, worked with Carl something on the
DiscoVis laserdisc program and then left to work for SimuFlite Training in
Dallas.  SimuFlite purchased it's own PLATO system, after they came out with
the systems that didn't require chilled water to operate!
