Research Opportunities for Graduate Students:
Professor Chris Meehan is currently looking for three graduate students as described below:
- 1 Ph.D. student to work on improving design methods for levee systems. Student should have a Master's Degree, significant related work experience, or a record of exemplary undergraduate performance in Civil Engineering.
- 1 Ph.D. student to work on laboratory and in situ experimental issues. Experience with geophysical methods is especially desirable. Student should have a Master's Degree, significant related work experience, or a record of exemplary undergraduate performance in Civil Engineering or Geology/Geophysics.
- 1 M.S. student to focus on experimental work centered on geotechnical laboratory testing and in situ testing. Student should have an undergraduate background in Civil Engineering.
