The University of Delaware and The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia are hosting the Fintech and Financial Institutions Research Conference, April 10-11, featuring discussions and presentations by leading researchers and experts in the field of financial technology.
The two-day conference is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Registration for this event is open until April 3 and is free for those who register with their UD credentials.

The central theme of the conference is the interconnectedness of the broader financial systems and technology. There will also be keynote addresses from Stefan Nagel, University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and Ramayya Krishnan, Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College.

“The Fintech and Financial Institutions Research Conference themes are close to the priorities of UD's Fintech Innovation Hub — there will be diverse discussions about financial health, the future of AI, the possibility of bringing blockchain methods into the stock market trading system, and so much more,” said Paul Laux, conference chair organizer and UD professor of finance and JP Morgan Chase senior fellow.

The FinTech Innovation Hub is UD’s national center of excellence in education, research and workforce development that leverages the region’s expertise and assets to address broad challenges in financial health.
