Generative AI tools now available at UD

New tools available to enhance your productivity, creativity and learning experience

Information Technologies is excited to announce that three Generative AI tools are now accessible to all members of the University of Delaware: Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and Zoom AI Companion. These tools can enhance your productivity and creativity while opening new possibilities for your teaching or learning experience.

For more information on how to use these tools, please refer to the following resources:

  • Directive for Appropriate Use – Understand the policies governing the responsible use of generative AI at UD.
  • FAQs – Learn about the capabilities and limitations of generative AI.
  • Available Tools – Explore the AI tools now at your disposal.

Free versions of Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini are available now. If you would like to request access to the paid version of these tools with enhanced features, please submit a request via askit@udel.edu.

Note: Users who are under 18 may have a different experience using Gemini due to current Google policies regarding age restrictions, as some features may not be available.

Zoom AI Companion is now available to UD Zoom accounts. To learn more, visit https://ats.udel.edu/conferencing/zoom/ai-companion-tools/.

If there is a Generative AI product that you would like to use, but is not currently listed in the Available Tools page, please open a new Technology Request.

UDIT encourages you to explore these resources to make the most of this new offering.
