The Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) wants to support and amplify your volunteer efforts. Here’s how we can collaborate:

1. Submit Department Volunteer Opportunities: Does your department offer volunteer roles, such as speaking on panels, participating in events or classrooms or contributing time in other ways? Share these opportunities via our volunteer opportunity form, and DAR will help spread the word!
2. Request Appreciation for Alumni Volunteers: Before an alum volunteers with your department, college or unit, email volunteer@udel.edu to request a thank-you card and a token of appreciation to deliver to the volunteer. Faculty and staff who notify DAR of alumni involvement will be entered into a $25 Amazon gift card drawing at the end of the fall and spring semesters. 3. Connect Alumni with Volunteer Opportunities: If you know Blue Hens interested in volunteering, guide them to DAR’s volunteer webpage where they can explore opportunities, submit a volunteer interest form or reach out with questions at volunteer@udel.edu.
