The University of Delaware football schedule for the inaugural FBS season in Conference USA has been released, the league announced Thursday. The Blue and Gold will play four previously announced non-conference contests and an eight-game Conference USA slate, with six total games being played at Delaware Stadium.

The Department of Athletics, Community and Campus Recreation (DACCR) also announced that the Parents and Family Weekend game will take place on Friday, Oct. 3, against Western Kentucky, and Homecoming will happen on Saturday, Nov. 8, versus Louisiana Tech.

The 2025 CUSA alignment will feature 12 teams with no divisions. FIU, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Liberty, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, UTEP and WKU, along with newcomers Delaware and Missouri State comprise CUSA for the 2025 football season. The 2025 schedule complies with CUSA scheduling policies as approved by the Board of Directors.

With the move to FBS and Conference USA, the Blue Hens will play at least three national television games as part of the league's media rights agreement. This marks the third season of "Weekday CUSA," which will see all October league matchups played on midweek evenings. CUSA's broadcast partners will share the October weeknight football games on linear television across CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Season tickets

Season tickets for the 2025 season, Delaware's inaugural campaign at the FBS level, are on sale now. Fans who purchase season tickets by Feb. 28, 2025, can save up to 9% on their season ticket package with Early Bird pricing and up to 34% over single-game ticket prices. The Blue Hens will play six home games at Delaware Stadium, and season ticket members also get first access to upgrade their seats and/or parking space, additional home and away game tickets, including UD's games at Colorado (Sept. 6) and Wake Forest (Nov. 22), and receive a 2025 Delaware Football STM gift. Partial plans and individual game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
