Call for Proposals: Summer Institute on Teaching 2025
April 02, 2025
Submit for SIT 2025: Deadline April 10
The Summer Institute on Teaching (SIT) is back in 2025. This annual event is an opportunity to hear from your colleagues about their teaching successes, learn new ways to engage your students and discover innovative tools and approaches to support your pedagogy.
Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 28, and Thursday, May 29. This year’s event will include one day on Zoom (May 28) and one day in-person (May 29).
Do you have a teaching topic you’d like to explore with your colleagues? Are you excited to present a story of your teaching success? Or is there a pedagogical controversy that you’d like to engage in collegial debate about with a panel of colleagues? The Call for Session Proposals is now open.
We encourage educators at UD to submit proposals for sessions that will inform others about your exciting, interesting and effective educational practices. Proposed sessions should actively demonstrate and practice effective educational practices. Collaborations between multiple facilitators are strongly encouraged. We welcome proposals on all teaching and learning topics and encourage submitters to carefully consider the modality (Zoom or in-person) that will best support their session goals.
Registration for SIT attendees will open roughly one month before the event (late May/early April).
