University of Delaware hosts transformative AI conference for academia
The University of Delaware is emerging as a leader in artificial intelligence integration across higher education, championing initiatives like the AI for Teaching and Learning Working Group and the AI Center of Excellence. Building on this momentum, UD will host the AiM Higher Conference from June 16–18, 2025, in Newark, Delaware. AiM Higher is a solutions-driven, collaborative experience unlike other conferences.
What is AiM Higher?
AiM Higher is a dynamic, hands-on conference designed to:
Foster cross-institutional collaboration among East Coast universities
Equip higher education professionals with tangible AI tools for immediate use
Move beyond theory to focus on real-world AI implementation in teaching, research, and administration
Conference Highlights
The three-day event features four different tracks:
- AI Makerspace: Practical tool-building for developers and technical staff
- Academic Research and Teaching Pedagogy: Personalization, ethics and classroom innovation
- Operational Excellence and Administrative Strategy: AI to streamline operations and enhance student services
- Executive Leadership: High-level strategy sessions on AI governance and institutional transformation
