New issues of UD Magazine highlight disaster research and statewide impact
In the (hopefully unlikely) event of a zombie apocalypse, the world will need Blue Hens.
Fortunately, 2024 marks the 60-year anniversary of the world’s oldest disaster center, housed at UD and prominently featured in the latest issue of UD Magazine.
Advanced copies are now in select mailboxes, alongside a special edition that highlights statewide impact and features a DE-tour of Blue Hen connections.
The two publications have been mailed to in-state donors.
The main magazine features additional stories on undergraduate research, mentorship and a cover story on alumni who are creating educational equity in Ghana. It is expected to hit mailboxes nationwide in early December.
