UD Dining is excited to showcase the culinary talents of its dedicated team through its first Battle of the Bites Contest. UD Dining employees have the unique opportunity to showcase their creativity and culinary expertise to the UD community.

Team members have submitted their best recipes, and the dining committee has carefully reviewed each submission. The six finalists have been selected and will now face off in an in-person cook off on Friday, Nov. 15, at Russell Dining from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The dishes battling it out are Creamy Honey Butter Turkey Bagel, Blue Hen Chicken Sandwich, MR’s Buttery Blue Hen Chicken, Hen’s Giving and The Clucker.

Here’s where the UD campus comes in: As a member of the UD community, you will have a chance to taste each finalist's creation and cast your vote for the dish that you believe deserves to be crowned the winner of the Battle of the Bites. This is more than just a cooking competition—it’s a chance to make UD history and support UD's talented dining team. Be a part of history by tasting and voting for a dish that will best represent UD.
