This year on GivingTuesday, held Dec. 3, the University of Delaware community invites Blue Hens and friends to support the 140 fundraising projects featured on HenFunder, UD’s crowdfunding platform.

Each fundraising initiative was created by Blue Hens for Blue Hens to help the UD community thrive. From scholarships and experiential learning experiences, to sports teams and equity initiatives, there are options for every Blue Hen to support their passions.

In addition to the causes hosted by members of the campus community, the University is also featuring the Blue Hen Strong Fund, which provides immediate-use resources for students in need, and the Blue Hen Food and Supply Pantry, which helps students access the basic needs, like food and self-care items.

“GivingTuesday has inspired philanthropy around the world for the past 12 years, and we’re thankful for the impact it will have on our UD community this year,” said Jim Dicker, vice president of Development and Alumni Relations. “Donor support is key to ensuring our students not only have access to incredible opportunities but also the tools they need to thrive at UD and beyond.”
