Did you know that UD currently has over 3,000 active volunteers supporting the University? Volunteering is an important way to engage and connect members of the UD community with each other and with the institution. Staff in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations matches UD alumni, parents and friends with meaningful volunteer opportunities that align with their passions and areas of interest at the University.

In an effort to promote a comprehensive list of volunteer opportunities at UD, DAR needs your help! We are in the process of developing an inventory of University-wide volunteer opportunities, ranging from long-term boards and councils to lending an extra hand for a specific project that can be completed in a day or even an hour. We also want to include opportunities that take place on campus, virtually and in the individual’s own community and ensure all constituents’ interests are represented by offering volunteer opportunities that support the University’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
