Looking to raise funds for your registered student organization, research project, experiential learning opportunity or other University of Delaware cause? Take advantage of UD’s year-round crowdfunding platform, HenFunder, to raise funds quickly and easily on GivingTuesday, Nov. 28.

GivingTuesday, the annual day of philanthropy held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, generates support for dozens of UD projects as part of the University’s second largest giving day. Fundraising projects are led by UD students, faculty, staff and alumni. Blue Hens and friends can support the UD causes they care about most and explore other fundraising projects online.

As one of the many fundraising projects that participated in GivingTuesday last year, the UD Club Figure Skating team raised over $4,500 toward travel expenses and ice time.

“Creating a GivingTuesday page is integral to securing the funds needed to have a successful season. We more than doubled our previous season’s fundraising efforts by the end of GivingTuesday,” said Lily Zieg, a senior and fundraising chair for the team.

The application to submit a fundraising project idea is available now through Oct. 15. Email henfunder@udel.edu with any questions about participating in GivingTuesday.
