Tuition Exchange Program applications open

Apply by Oct. 25 using the Educational Benefits Webform

Applications are now open for University of Delaware faculty and staff to apply for the Tuition Exchange (TE) 2024-25 academic year scholarships. Those interested in applying should do so through the Educational Benefits webform by Oct. 25, 2023.

What you need to know

TE is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity for dependents of eligible faculty and staff at more than 600 Tuition Exchange, Inc. member schools nationwide, including UD. If a scholarship is awarded, full or partial tuition is waived for a full-time matriculated undergraduate dependent child. A student may be granted a scholarship up to four years. (Submitting an application and subsequent acceptance to a participating school does not guarantee that a TE scholarship will be awarded.)

Eligibility

UD employees must work full-time and have a minimum of two years of eligible service as of Oct. 31 of the year in which they submit the TE application. Retirees who meet age and service requirements are also eligible. This program may be used in conjunction with UD's Tuition Remission program and counts toward the maximum two requests for that program.

How To Apply

• Log into web forms
• Select “BEN Education Benefits”
• In the menu choice, choose Tuition Exchange Program. (Dependent children may apply to one or more participating institutions)
• At least one school must be entered on the Tuition Exchange web form

Lottery

A lottery drawing will be held on Oct. 27, 2023 at 12:15 p.m. in the HSC Atrium at the STAR campus, 540 South College Ave. To be included, participants must submit a TE web form by Oct. 25, 2023. Attendance at the drawing is optional. For additional information about the Tuition Exchange Program, visit the Benefits website or email hrhelp@udel.edu.
