During the University of Delaware fall semester, the Writing Center will be offering writing groups to UD graduate students from across the disciplines. Participants will meet weekly to share progress, share writing-related concerns, and to spend time writing in a quiet space with the rest of the group. In person and online participation options are available. Writing groups will begin the week of Sept. 5, but writers can join at any time during the semester. In-person space is limited, so register soon.

Dissertate Write Now: Fridays, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

This group is for students from any doctoral program at any stage of the process of writing their dissertation or other culminating doctoral project. There will be space available in Memorial Hall, Room 016, for group members who want to come in person and a Zoom option for group members who prefer to participate virtually.

Multimedia/digital humanities based projects: Wednesdays, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This group is for graduate students from any field whose work intersects with multimedia or digital humanities studies. Projects in mass communication, media studies, game students, and more are all welcome. This group will meet in room 017 of Morris Library, and will have a Zoom option for group members who prefer to participate virtually.

All Writers Welcome: Tuesdays, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This group is for any students in graduate programs at the master’s or doctoral levels working on projects for coursework, publication, or degree completion. The group will meet online only via Zoom.
