Summer Internships in Climate Change for Graduate Students
March 07, 2022
Climate Change Hub Summer 2022 Graduate Policy Internships
The Gerard J. Mangone Climate Change Science and Policy Hub promotes collaboration among students, faculty, stakeholders and specialists to position the University of Delaware as a national leader in climate change education, research and innovation. Together we discover and implement solutions for a more sustainable tomorrow.
One of the main goals of the Hub is to develop and nurture future leaders and changemakers who will create innovative solutions to climate change impacts.
To that end, the Climate Change Hub will offer two $6,000 2022 Climate Policy Summer Internships (10 weeks).
A Climate Policy Intern will be a current UD graduate student from any graduate degree program with a passion for the environment, who will immerse themselves in a climate change related internship. (Project to be determined by Climate Change Hub directors.) Prospective projects for the climate policy intern will focus on a select project from the Delaware State Climate Action Plan. Students will be expected to submit a final paper before the start of the fall 2022 semester and present their findings at an upcoming symposium.
