University of Delaware Dining, operated by Aramark, is seeking enthusiastic undergraduate students to be Dining Ambassadors. Positions are available for New Student Orientation (June and July) and for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Earn money and have fun by joining the Dining Services student marketing team. The job offers the chance to meet new people, work flexible hours, strengthen your communication skills and enjoy delicious food every time you work. Dining Ambassadors will be responsible for communicating the benefits of a meal plan and our dining options on campus. This could be with meal plan tabling events throughout the year, during Admitted Student days, New Student Orientation, dining events, etc. You'll work with the team to reach these meal plan sales goals and support the marketing strategies for theme meals, surveys, tablings, events, mystery shopper shifts, creating content for social media (@DiningUD) and more.

The ideal candidate is a positive and confident individual with strong communication skills who is also reliable and dependable. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in educating peers about on-campus dining and share an overwhelming pride in the University of Delaware, as well as have an interest in the food service industry.

Dining’s Peer-to-Peer team is an opportunity to gain professional experience working for a Fortune 500 company while on campus. There’s opportunities to gain experience in marketing, retail, social media, food photography/videography, nutrition, verbal communications, and more.
