Dining Services to hold student roundtable discussion

Looking for feedback from University of Delaware students

Dining Services will be hosting a semesterly Student Roundtable on Thursday, Nov. 1, to engage directly with active students within the UD community to help shape the future of Dining. This is an important opportunity for UD Dining Leadership to create meaningful and open dialogue between the department and guests to remain relevant in dining offerings to fulfill guests wants, needs, schedules and better understand students' ideal dining experience on campus.

Aramark has been a proud partner of the University since 1991. While the last two years have been unlike any other, the hospitality industry has had to adapt and pivot practices to match ever-evolving demands and safety guidelines. The unprecedented nature of the pandemic has created challenges that are unusual in their scale and reach across categories. The Dining team has been focused on doing everything possible to proactively mitigate these issues and is focused on continuing to provide a valuable dining experience. The feedback received from the roundtable, as well as the daily ‘Be Heard’ survey, allows productive conversations that can make real, visible changes within the dining program.

Dining representatives at the Student Roundtable will include the vice president of operations, resident district manager, senior director of residential operations, senior director of retail operations, registered dietitian, marketing manager and residential chef.

Dining Services will host the Fall 2021 Student Roundtable on Nov. 11 from 5-7 p,m. Students who are interested in being a part of the conversation, please click this link to reserve your seat at the table as spots are limited and reservations are required. Dinner will be served so bring your dining questions and appetite.
