Prospective students can again come see the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in action
The University of Delaware's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) is offering both in-person and virtual visits this spring for admitted and prospective students to learn more about the college and its mission to feed the world and protect the planet.
With a 350-acre classroom just steps from central campus, CANR provides hands-on experience with animals, plants, wetlands, forests, insects, greenhouses and laboratories. Additionally, Worrilow Hall, the college’s newly redesigned research hub, is now one of the most modern, state-of-the-art learning facilities on UD’s campus; reconfigured learning rooms, updated sensory and testing labs, and expanded collaborative space ensure students can create even more innovative solutions to global issues.
In-person visits: The college will host in-person, socially distanced tours to visit our premier 350-acre campus for Fall 2021 admitted students. For those students that don’t fall into this category, please check back in the Fall 2021 for additional in-person opportunities. The tours adhere to the University’s health and safety protocols.
Virtual experiences: CANR offers numerous virtual visit options for both prospective and admitted families. Hear from faculty and students as they share their experiences and passion about being part of our college or sit in on a live laboratory. The college will offer the following program-specific sessions.
Weekend visits: Admitted students can attend a Virtual Decision Day Virtual Open House (Apr. 10 or Apr. 17). The college offers information sessions organized by major. Professors will discuss courses, career paths, support services and opportunities.
