A reminder for University of Delaware employees who haven’t done so: Friday, March 19 is the deadline to complete the EVERFI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) modules that are designed to help our campus to create a baseline and shared understanding of definitions, social identities
and ways to get engaged in inclusive practices on campus.

“To continue to change the campus culture to be inclusive and a place of belonging, it is important that the DEI module reaches students, faculty, and staff on campus,” said Stephanie Chang, director of student diversity and inclusion.

Undergraduate students will be invited to complete a student DEI module at the end of March. The module, like the employee version, gives students an opportunity to look at DEI through the lens of identities, power, privilege, and oppression, and creating a culture of respect.
