Bus service set for Re-Coop Day March 30

Two North-South Shuttles, one East-West shuttle in operation

Transportation Services will operate two North-South Shuttles and one East-West shuttle from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Blue Hen Re-Coop Day, Tuesday, March 30.

The North-South buses will arrive at stops at 15-minute intervals, and the East-West bus will arrive at stops at 50-minute intervals.

Current COVID-19 protocols, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will be strictly observed. To allow for appropriate physical distancing, each bus will carry no more than eight passengers, and use of face coverings will be required at all times. Anyone who is sick or has recently been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 should not be using the buses.

All buses will be equipped with hand sanitizer dispensers for passengers. Most buses are equipped with shields to protect the drivers. For those that are not equipped, the rear door will be used for boarding and exiting. Persons requiring a wheelchair ramp are exempt.

For the route map, visit the UD Transportation Services website. The route is also accessible on the DoubleMap real-time tracking system.

Since the bus routes are limited, students are encouraged to bring a bicycle to campus.
