Campus move-in is an exciting time of year for University of Delaware students, and although spring move-in typically doesn’t have the same excitement that fall does, this year it will!.

Many new students will be arriving on campus, some of them never having set foot on campus before.

A centralized check-in process has been developed, and several staff members are needed to help students and families with keys, student IDs and information. Members of the UD community are being asked to volunteer to help so that students can have a safe, comfortable and exciting start for their on-campus experience.

Dates of Check-In:

Wednesday through Sunday, Feb. 10-14, from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Locations:

Greeters may be stationed at either Bob Carpenter Center, University Courtyard Clubhouse or any one of the residence halls across campus

Curbside Check-In:

Curbside check-in will allow students to park on arrival and check in via their housing portal. Team members will help coordinate key packets, enter data using room assignment software and help direct students and families to their residence halls.

Safety Protocols:

Students and family/guests will be required to show they have completed the health assessment survey when entering and will receive a green sticker to put on themselves to indicate they have been cleared for entrance to the residence halls.

In addition to limiting the face-to-face interaction with students checking in, plexiglass partitions will be in place between each team member, and everyone will be required to wears masks. Hand sanitizer also will be readily available.
