End of semester and break information
The University of Delaware Department of Transportation and Parking Services has provided a schedule for finals week, the final days of December and early January.
Transportation Services Shuttle
For the week beginning on Monday, Dec. 20, through Thursday, Dec. 23, the UD shuttles will operate according to the limited holiday schedule. There will be no weekend bus service.
Additionally, from Dec. 24, through Jan. 1 there will be no University shuttle service. Starting Sunday, Jan 2, shuttles will operate the regular weekend bus schedule. Winter Session buses begin Monday, Jan. 3.

Parking Services Updates
From 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., nightly during final exam week there will be no charge for parking at the Visitors Center Lot 41 on South College Ave. The complimentary parking is being implemented to support students who are studying at the Morris Library. Normal hourly rates apply between 2 a.m. and 8 p.m. Motorists should pay the kiosk if parked during these hours.
Beginning Mon, Dec. 13, vehicles parked at the Visitors Center lot from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. each weeknight through exams will not be charged for parking.
Valid red and resident student parking permits can be used to park in gray lots when classes or exams are not in session Monday, Dec. 20 through Thursday, Dec. 23. Weekend parking rules are in effect during the holiday break when the University is closed. Normal parking regulations resume Monday, Jan. 3, 2022.
To obtain the best price, Winter Session parking permits will be available for sale online Jan. 1, and spring semester permits will be available online beginning Feb. 1.
