The University of Delaware's Parking Services announced that parking permits can be purchased for the 2021-2022 academic year beginning Monday, Aug. 2 for students, staff and retirees. Permit charges resume at the 2018-2019 rates.

To obtain a permit for 2021-22, go to the Parking Services website.

Non-University and part-time employees can register online if they have an UDelNetID or have obtained a username and password from Parking Services.

In-person sales at 147 Perkins Student Center will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 25. Virtual front office customer service will be available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Zoom meeting #302 831 1184.

For employees, online sales begin Monday, Aug. 2. Employees who have an auto-renew permit and have no changes do not need to go online. The permit renews automatically. Due to a change in regulations, the pre-tax payroll deduction option has returned. Those who are on a waiting list for a specific lot do not need to submit a new wait list request for that lot.

For students, online sales also begin Monday, Aug. 2. All students receiving financial aid or loan money who wish to take advantage of the “bill student account” option should submit a permit request before Aug. 13. Students who purchase academic or annual permits before Oct. 31, can have their bicycle stored during winter break and the summer session at no charge. On-campus students should register early to obtain a spot in the closest lot to their residence hall. Commuting students should consider purchasing long-term permits, as they are more cost effective than short-term permits. Graduate students who want to have payroll deduction must wait until their fall stipends have been entered into UDSIS.
