The University of Delaware is partnering with Delaware Emergency Management (DEMA) to offer drive-through and walk-up COVID-19 testing Friday, Aug. 28, on the STAR Campus.

Testing is open to members of the University community, with or without symptoms of COVID-19. There is no charge.

The testing event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, with the first two hours reserved exclusively for students, faculty and staff.  Availability of tests is on a first-come, first-served basis; registration is required. The results of this test satisfy the University's requirements for pre-arrival testing and results should be available by Tuesday, Sept. 1.  

Before returning to campus, students, faculty and staff must be tested for COVID-19. This includes students living on campus, students who live off campus and have face-to-face coursework or plan to use campus facilities such as the Student Centers or the Carpenter Sports Building (Little Bob), as well as faculty and staff who are working on campus and those working on campus who have a contractual arrangement with the University, such as visiting scholars, contractors or vendors. 

Employees are permitted to step away from their UD duties to complete this testing. You are asked to notify your supervisor of your time slot and related short absence.
