Informational Sessions for UD Students Interested in Paid Internship
Would you like to earn between nine and twelve credits while gaining essential professional experience as part of a global team? The Global Enterprise Technology (GET) Immersion Internship experience is an innovative, extended 6-month work experience offered to students at the University of Delaware.
The program is open to students from any college or major who meet the GPA minimums, demonstrate a passion for learning new technology and participate in a rigorous, employer-led interview process.
“The GET Program allowed me to gain experience in the corporate world that I would not have received in the classroom,” said CJ Meyer, a student in the UD College of Engineering and former GET intern at KPMG. “The six month internship provided insight into the company culture and the type of work that I would be doing as a full-time employee.”
The benefits of the GET Internship include:
- Earn up to $1000 per week, $20,000 over the life of the program
- The GET program has a job placement record of 100% since 2010
- Most positions are local; you can live on campus while working
- Learn to navigate complex work environments as you work side-by-side with corporate system engineers, IT personnel, product planners and consultants
Over 20 GET internships positions are available on Handshake from employers like BlackRock, JPMC, Exelon, Thales, PwC and more. The deadline to apply is Oct. 6, 2019 and the internship will run from June 2020 through December 2020. You can learn more about the GET Internships during upcoming informational sessions:
