Youth Cheer and Dance Day, scheduled on Saturday, Oct. 19, in Delaware Stadium, will give kids age 12 and younger an opportunity to learn about the importance of education and fitness while meeting and interacting with the University of Delaware Cheerleading and Dance teams.

Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Registration will close on Friday, Oct. 4, subject to availability.

All participants will learn a short routine to be performed on-field at halftime of the Blue Hens Football game later that day for all to see in Delaware Stadium. No experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome. Attire is athletic apparel and sneakers.

Registration fee of $25 will include clinic, long sleeve shirt and one game ticket for the participant. Family and friends may purchase additional tickets in advance for $15 during online event registration.

Clinic check-in will be from 9:30-10 a.m. at Delaware Field House. A pre-game clinic is scheduled from 10-11 a.m., participants will have time for fun in the Anchor Buick GMC Fan Zone in front of the Bob Carpenter Center from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The game vs. New Hampshire kicks off at 1 p.m. Participants will be on the field at halftime for a performance.
