eduroam Wi-Fi Refresh

Don’t lose your connection, refresh your eduroam Wi-Fi before Monday, Oct. 21

UD Information Technologies (UDIT) is working to address the eduroam Wi-Fi connectivity issues that the campus community has been experiencing lately and will be performing a Wi-Fi refresh at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 21. All members of the UD community who wirelessly connect to eduroam will need to complete specific steps (detailed in the link below) to avoid losing connection on this date.

This process will need to be completed on all wireless devices including cell phones, tablets and laptops. Due to the variation in devices, users may need to complete slightly different steps for each device they refresh. UDIT encourages users to review the documentation for their specific devices at the link below before performing the refresh. Taking action early will allow users to continue to have access to eduroam even if they experience challenges when updating their devices.

UDIT will be providing support throughout this process including pop-up help centers at Trabant University Center and Perkins Student Center between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Bring your device to these locations and UDIT staff will refresh your connection for you.

Faculty and staff can also receive support at Faculty Commons (116 Pearson Hall) and through their IT professionals within their departments and colleges.

As always, UDIT provides technical support through our new service portal services.udel.edu, 302-831-6000 or AskIT@udel.edu. In person assistance is also available for extended hours at the Smith Hall computing site service desk in the lower level of Smith Hall.

Don’t wait … take the steps to stay connected today!
