Six home games in renovated Delaware Stadium
With a young, talented team returning and the grand opening of the Whitney Athletic Center at the University of Delaware, the 2020 football season is poised to be an exciting one at Delaware Stadium.
UD and the Colonial Athletic Association announced the 2020 schedule, which includes six home games for the Blue Hens.
The Blue Hens start the season with back-to-back road conference games against the past two regular season CAA champions with James Madison (Sept. 5) and Maine (Sept. 12).
Delaware’s home opener is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, when Long Island University visits Newark.
The Blue Hens have a challenging non-conference game on Sept. 26, when they play North Carolina State in Raleigh.
For UD’s Parents & Family weekend, the Blue Hens will play Elon on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Delaware Stadium.
Homecoming is set for Oct. 24 when William and Mary visits Delaware Stadium, with road trips to Stony Brook (Oct. 17) and Albany (Oct. 31) in between.
The Blue Hens wrap up the 2020 schedule with three consecutive home games, welcoming Towson (Nov. 7), Villanova (Nov. 14) and Delaware State (Nov. 21).
Blue Hen fans will have their chance to secure seats for all six home games when season tickets go on sale in January. Ticket packages start at as low as $85. Renewing season ticket members will receive their renewal form via email shortly after Jan. 1, 2020.
