Morris Library partial closure
November 26, 2018
Portions of library’s lower level closed due to flooding
UPDATE, as of 10:30 p.m., Nov. 26: Self-service printing has resumed on the lower level, Room A is available and self-service scanners are now available. The only service areas still affected are the Multimedia Writing Center (run by the College of Arts and Sciences) and the Microform Collection. Writing Center staff will move scheduled appointments to the Writing Center in Memorial Hall. Student Multimedia Design Center staff will work to pull requested items from the Microform Collection.
Portions of the lower level of the University of Delaware’s Morris Library are closed due to flooding. Standing water in portions of the Student Multimedia Design Center have forced the temporary closure of room A, the microforms room, the multimedia writing center and the self-service printing area.
The Student Multimedia Design Center will hold classes as scheduled in room B, and the service desk is open to circulate equipment. The Film and Video Collection is operating normally.
Users wishing to print can still do so on the first floor.
