Construction set between Drake Hall, Colburn Lab
November 08, 2018
Area between buildings to be fenced from mid-November through early January
The area between Drake Hall and Colburn Laboratory on the University of Delaware’s central campus will be fenced off from mid-November through early January because of a project to remove and relocate chilled water lines between the two buildings.
Both buildings will remain open during the project: Access to Drake Hall will be available from the north, south and one of the east side entrances, and the ADA-ramp and entrance on the west side of Colburn Laboratory will remain open.
During the project, pedestrians will not be able to travel from Evans Hall toward Academy Street, Lovett Avenue and other points south and east.
The second phase of the project, beginning in January, will close off the drive between the Utility Plant and Brown Laboratory.
