University's online parking permit system open for 2018-19 registration
The University of Delaware has announced that online parking permit registration for the 2018-19 academic year is available for students, staff and retirees.
To obtain a permit for 2018-19, go to the website, click on the link at the bottom of the page, select “get permits,” login with your UDelNetID and follow the on-screen instructions.
Non-University and part-time employees can register online if they have an UDelNetID.
The website has changed so those using it are asked to be sure to read the information on each page.
In-person sales at 147 Perkins Student Center will begin on move-in weekend, Aug. 25.
For employees
Online sales begin Wednesday, Aug. 1. Employees who have an auto-renew permit and have no changes do not need to go online. The permit renews automatically. Those who are currently on a waitlist for a specific lot do not need to submit a new waitlist request for that lot.
For students
Online sales begin Wednesday, Aug. 1. All students receiving financial aid or loan money who wish to take advantage of the “bill student account” option should submit a permit request before Aug. 17.
New this year
Students who purchase academic or annual permits before Oct. 31 can have their bicycle stored during Winter Break and Summer Session at no charge.
On-campus students should register early to obtain the closest lot to their residence hall.
Commuting students should consider purchasing long-term permits, as they are more cost effective than short-term permits.
Graduate students who want to have payroll deduction must wait until their fall stipends have been entered into UDSIS.
