UD Employee Health and Wellbeing announces winter offerings
With the New Year just underway, many University of Delaware employees are looking for fun ways to improve their health. Employee Health and Wellbeing has a variety of program offerings to help meet employees’ needs physically, nutritionally and socially.
Employees are invited to join their colleagues for fun in the kitchen with the return of the healthy cooking classes. These classes, led by a registered dietitian, allow participants to learn healthy recipes and food preparation techniques.
The winter session will feature a ladies night class, a healthy desserts class, and a healthy Super Bowl snacks class. Space is limited, so those with interest are encouraged to sign up early. Visit this website for more information.
Winter fitness classes began on Tuesday, Jan. 3, for a short five-week session. With classes on both the main and South campuses, this shorter session gives employees the opportunities to try new classes without the long-term commitment.
Ranging from beginner yoga to total body strength, there are classes for all fitness levels. Single class passes or unlimited passes are available and required to participate. Visit the fitness website for the full schedule.
All Employee Health and Wellbeing information, as well as program registration, can be found on this website. For questions, email wellness@udel.edu or call 831-8388.
