As part of the University of Delaware's South Academy Street Residence Hall construction project, the southbound lane of Academy Street and the sidewalk on the west side of the street will be closed intermittently through Saturday, April 22.

The affected area will be in the section of Academy Street near Courtney Street and Park Place.

Flaggers will be present to direct traffic when the lane is closed.

The closure is needed so that a crane can be used to complete masonry work along the east elevation of the new residence hall project.
