Oct. 7: South College Community

South College Community Day set during Parents and Family Weekend

The inaugural South College Community Day will take place on the Friday of Parents and Family Weekend, Oct. 7, from 3-5 p.m. on the lawns in front of 192, 186 and 180 South College Ave.

The event will be hosted by the Center for Black Culture, the Honors Program and the Undergraduate Research Program.

This event celebrates the importance of community among the three groups as well as their relationship with the UD community as a whole. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the festivities while learning more about the services each group provides for students.

Each attendee will be given a card to collect stickers at each of the three locations that can be used to receive free UDairy Creamery ice cream from the Moo Mobile and to enter a raffle to win one of three $10 gift cards to the Downtown Newark Partnership. Lawn games, music and popcorn will also be provided.

The entire UD community and their parents and families are welcome and encouraged to attend the event.

Follow the Honors Program on Twitter and Facebook or see the event page for updates.
