Recreation sets Winter Session student access options, facility hours, programs
Winter Session hours and information on student access, fitness and intramurals at the University of Delaware Carpenter Sports Building (Little Bob) have been announced by Recreation.
The Little Bob will be open from 6 a.m.-11 p.m., Monday-Thursday; from 6 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday; and from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Hours for lap swim, fitness classes, Independence gym and Harrington gym schedules can be viewed at this website.
Members are also encouraged to register for the Recreation email list to receive updates on scheduled and winter storm related changes to hours.
Student access
Students must pay the $25 Recreation portion of the student comprehensive fee to access the facility during Winter Session, Jan. 3 through Feb. 4.
Students falling under the categories below can pay this fee online or at the cashier’s window in the Little Bob:
• Students that are not enrolled in a class for the session.
• Students on course fee waiver.
• Students on sustaining status or leave of absence.
• Students taking only online classes.
• Students that are studying abroad.
• Part-time graduate students must pay the Recreation fee at the cashier’s window in the Little Bob.

Fitness
The winter group fitness schedule is now available and single or unlimited class passes can be purchased at the cashier’s window in the Little Bob. For information on pricing and the class schedule, visit this page.
Personal training sessions are also available for those who prefer one-on-one instruction. All trainers are nationally certified and will create an effective workout plan tailored to meet their client’s goals. Sessions are scheduled at a time convenient to the client and can take place in the privacy of the personal training studio or the main fitness area. Intramural sports leagues
There are four intramural sports leagues available during Winter Session: 5v5 basketball, 5v5 indoor soccer, 4v4 indoor volleyball, and 4v4 court dodgeball.
Each sport offers men’s, women’s and coed divisions with multiple levels of competitiveness to accommodate participants of all skill levels. Teams must register by 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, at this page.
