Therapy Approach
My theoretical orientation is integrative in connecting humanistic, cognitive and behavioral frameworks to support individuals in recognizing their strengths and developing effective coping strategies to achieve their goals. Through a person-centered therapeutic approach, I strive to maintain a collaborative and empowering space for clients to better understand themselves and their experiences. I believe that individuals maintain the capacity to modify maladaptive thinking styles and patterns of behavior and I support clients in identifying and implementing solution-focused strategies that will facilitate positive change.
Supervision Approach
My approach to supervision builds a collaborative and supportive space in which supervisees can develop their strengths and build their clinical identity with confidence. I am to offer an environment that promotes self-awareness, clinical growth and adherence to strong ethical practices. Supporting the needs of the client, as well as the needs of the supervisee, through transparency, mutual respect and connectedness is a priority.
