Therapy Approach

In my work with clients, I view each individual through a holistic, biopsychosocial lens within a developmental context. I explore both the “what” and “why,” attempting to identify patterns of thinking, relating and behaving that may be getting in the way of one’s goals. Drawing from an integrated approach, I balance practical approaches such as cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused with a curiosity inherent to psychodynamic and family systems theories.

Supervision Approach

Working with future professionals is a joy and that enthusiasm is a foundational element of my work with trainees. Using a scaffolded approach, I balance support and challenge to create the optimal zone of learning. My work with supervisees emphasizes both clinical and team excellence, with an emphasis on developmentally appropriate top of licensure practice, high interpersonal competency in workplace team environments, deep appreciation for systems context and commitment to lifelong professional development.
