Leadership Opportunities
Leadership Opportunities and Internships
Student Diversity & Inclusion provides paid internship opportunities for undergraduates interested in social media, marketing, event planning and peer education. Initiatives such as the Social Justice Peer Educators (SJPE) equip students with skills to facilitate workshops on inclusion. Additionally, leadership councils support student leaders in advocating for the needs of their campus communities.
The Social Justice Peer Educators (SJPE) program is a peer-to-peer social justice program and paid leadership opportunity for students.
The opportunity includes the training of student leaders who are passionate about social justice to facilitate peer-led workshops. Applications are accepted during the spring semester for the following academic year.
Applications will close on Friday, April 3.
If you're interested in learning more or exploring other ways to get involved, please contact the program director at tchizjr@udel.edu.
There is a good sense of belonging within the program and I feel welcome there.
I feel like I am included and involved with change within the program and on campus.

Leadership Councils
Are you involved in one of our affinity-based registered student organizations (RSOs) and looking to make an even larger impact? Your RSO can join one of our leadership councils! These groups advocate for the needs and interests of campus communities while building connectivity, belonging and collaboration. While Leadership Councils may center a specific culture or group, they do not exclude participation due to race, color, national origin, sexual orientation or gender expression.
