Center for Intercultural Engagement

As a presidential priority, the University of Delaware built the Center for Intercultural Engagement (CIE) to provide a physical space where students can interact, explore and grow together around social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.

This space intends to enhance student engagement, support cross-functional services and programs and increase cultural celebration of identities and experiences.

Location
 

The Center for Intercultural Engagement is located in Suite 261 on the second floor of Perkins Student Center (former space of the Center for Counseling and Student Development).

Hours
 

Perkins Student Center

Monday–Friday: 7 a.m.–midnight
Weekends: 9 a.m.–midnight

Center for Intercultural Engagement Welcome Desk

Daily: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Hours of operation may vary throughout the year.

The Center for Intercultural Engagement is coordinated by the Office of Institutional Equity and the Division of Student Life, which advances equity and inclusion, deepens student learning and drives holistic development through education, experiences and communities.
